Rear view mirror

I have a very anoying buzzing noise coming from the area of the rear view mirror. I can turn the radio up so lets not go there please. It seems to be from the plastic panel/housing that is behind the mirror thats atttached to the windscreen. Is this piece of plastic easily removable so I can investigate whats behind it. I assume something to do with the auto mirror thingy. I guess it must be removable in the case of a scree nreplacement but best to ask anyway.

get that buzz now and than on mine, usually a squeeze in the right place will sort it if you know what i mean:rolleyes:

Please let us know how the mirror assembly comes off, got the same buzz! Driving me mad, may end up harming the mirror in order to kill the buzz!
