Arm rest removal

My DS came with an arm rest which I like buy she who must be obeyed would like drinks holders for longer journeys. Just wondering how the arm rest comes off and does the drinks holder just substitute in the same fitting.

I just took a piece of metal bent it in a tight U attached a cup holder to one side and slipped it over the side of the floor mat. Stable easy to access and when I do not need it can remove in seconds
