  • reset keys after battery removal

I have had the car repaired and now only 1 key works. I have tried the instructions in the book but can't get the 2nd key to work.

has anyone managed to reset their keys?

When you say doesn't work how do you mean, is it with the remote locking or starting?

The key will manually unlock the door but neither button works and when inserted into the ignition the centre screen says 'electronic anti theft faulty'

That sounds to me that the key needs to be re-coded back to the immobilizer of the car, you will need to pop into your dealer and get them to sort out for you.

You were right, as I have had a new controller module fitted (everything electrical in the car went haywire) the garage have re-coded the key now.

          Cheers
