THP - Loudish 'whine' when light accelerating around 50mph?

Ive noticed my DS whines, but it actually got to the point of being annoying while driving abroad over long distances

Turn the radio off, and at around 50mph +/- 10mph it whines which increases with speed but if i dip the clutch (and cut the revs) it quietens as the revs drop so its not gearbox/wheel bearing related

Is this normal i wonder?

Lol, well actually i mentioned it to her and then yes, she did whine that id brought it to her attention and it was annoying her! Any excuse for a moan

Oh, and dont let her hear you say 'wife'!!
