  • rear wheel arch liner

noticed today that the offside rear wheel arch liner was hanging down and wouldn't stay in place when I pushed it back - seems a poor fit at best.

held it in place with clothes pegs and put some silicone sealant inside the arch lip to hold it

Bit of a bugger to have to do this on a premium'quality car'

Yeah, you don't expect rattles and things like that on a £15k+ car!

Funnily enough, I noticed a real botch bit today and I would bet it's the same on everyone's car, well, if in the UK (right hand drive) at least. Open your driver side door and look down at the pedals, now tilt your head to look up where the steering wheel coil is and follow it down to where it goes under the car, the plastic looks like it's been cut with a blunt swiss army knife on mine. Probably precision cut on the European models, but as I said, just noticed it today and thought, eurgh!

Aye, noticed that, had to copy and paste the url meself into a new tab. I've always uploaded my photos to the forum here so never used the img tags, but just tried it in a preview and they didn't work either. Small glitch, no doubt Sag will sort it as soon as he can.

This is a known production issue there is a modified arch liner that your dealer can fit under warranty

Hope your Dealer doesn't have an issue with you 'tampering' with the liner before they could deal with it ??

I had the same issue on the front nearside wing liner. Replaced under warranty as apparently it was warped and would not sit with the holes lines up.

Take it straight back and demand a fix

I have this problem but its by the bumper :/, keeps coming out but the other side is fine, i took it to citroen and the bloke just popped it back behind the bumper but its happened three times now, i think its going to have clips on there now

                          We came,
                          We saw,
                          We stood around,
                          We went home.

Think you may have a rubber grommet missing....quick fix fit a bolt and nut into it...this is a common fault.
