  • What brand of oil and what viscosity will you recommend?

I was wondering what brand of oil and what viscosity is the best for the ds3 THP engine? The local dealer used Total 5w30 full synthetic however i am not sure if this is the correct one for my country, I live in Cyprus and during summer temperatures exceed 40degrees almost every day, I was asking them why not use a 10w40 and they told me that this is what Citroen is recommending

Also a friend of mine that he is also a mechanic told me to have a look at Fuchs oils, they are very good

And you'll probably pay over the odds too. Somewhere like Halfords will advise you AND be cheaper.

Halfords do an own-brand oil to the correct Peugeot Citroen specification - and its 20% off at the moment.
