Dashboard Rattle

Sorry, i think this has been mentioned before but was just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem. Got my new DS 3 DSign on Friday and by Saturday evening, i noticed a weird rattle that appeared when i accelerated between 3rd & 4th gear. Then to top it off, the radio started to 'crackle' too!

Took it back to the dealers today and got them to listen to it. Got told that it was a fault that they knew about but my chassis no wasn't included. Its going back on Thurs so they can have a proper look and take the dashboard to pieces.

Should i hold out much hope thati won't ever hear it again?

I had a rattle from the dash that covers the dials and Citroen have come out with a fix for this under warranty.
Hope they solve it for you the worse thing is a rattle in a car.

Hi all,

Ta for all your comments. i have my DS3 back now and so far, fingers crossed, there's no rattle. The service guy had the nerve to say that it might have been due to it being a new car and things were still settling down. But he admitted that there was a loose wire and they 'cleaned' the radio too.

Also worst car i've ever driven is a C1! It was like a tin can on wheels!!
