  • Iphone 3gs not working using connector for music.

Hi all, Ive had my Ds3 for 3 months now and I've had no problems with using the iphone 3gs with bluetooth or the connector for music or the phone.
But since I updated my Iphone last week on Itunes to 5.0, to allow for the Icloud and new updates etc, since then when I connect the Iphone it just says wait on the dash board and nothing else happens. It still works through bluetooth fine, but as you know its not as good not having the music menus on the screen, and its seriously annoying. Has anyone else got this problem since the 5.0 update. any help would be great. thanks in advance.

Ok Zack thanks, was wondering if it might be worth resetting the iphone to factory settings first. Didn't know if the dealer would know much about it .

Try 'hard' resetting the car if your phone continues to fail to work.

Pop the bonnet and discount the battery for 10 mins, this will force the car to go back to factory set. See that cures the connectivity issue.

                Easy peasy.

Open the bonnet and look over to the right hand side, you should see a large black box, pull off the cover (may need a good tug) and you should see the battery and the two terminals. Find the one with the '+' on it and just lift that up and push aside, making sure that the terminal doesn't touch the pin it came off.

There is a section in the handbook that covers the battery and it's location if you get lost.
