Hi all,
Just wondering if the EGR valve can be disconnected on the 1.6HDi without causing fault codes to arise? Usually it's just a case of unplugging the vacuum pipe, and blocking it with a grub screw.
I've done this on several Citroens and VW's before without problem....just wondering if anything has been written into the software on the latest Citroens that prevents diconnection?
I have a feeling a dodgy EGR could be the cause of the slight juddering/hesitation problem my DS3 has.
