Oh dear!! Engine issue

Well just been out to pull my car in and I let it warn up as narmal! Pulled it in and engine mamagment light comes on (warning engine in need of repair). The fans come on as if the engine was too hot and there in no power at the throttle?! So I turned the car off and fans dont stop -.- had to disconnect the battery and reset it.
Anybody else experienced this ?!?

who hasnt im afraid mate ive had problem for a while ds3racing has had it appear today also. get it down dealers asap let them read fault code on ecu and "begin " sorting it

So has there been any breakthrough with the problem! Because I'd rather just go into garage n say "this is the problem this is the solution sort it"
