Battery lead recall

Had a message on Friday from my dealer to say my car (Dsport 110HDI) is being recalled due to a faulty lead/wore from the battery.

Checked the VOSA website and no mention of a recall for this reason. Can't believe my dealer is so organised and contacting me in advance!

Anyone else had their car recalled for this reason?

Not all recalls will appear on the VOSA website so don't rely on it for information.

I've said it before but the search box needs to be 10 times bigger with flashing neons!

I have recently had a letter from Citroen UK recalling my DS with the code MNE for the Neg Earth lead replacement. My car is due a service so I phoned the dealer ( John Grose Ipswich) and gave them two weeks notice to book the car in and at the same time mentioned the recall so it could be done at the same time.
Naturally they knew nothing about the recall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I called Citroen UK who hopefully will speak to the dealership. Just maybe they will have the part on the day.
