  • How to change front speakers on the DS3

    Total time: 30min to 1h

Tools needed: torx set, sturdy knife" or something flat and sturdy" and something pointy"

There are 5 screws holding it, 1 in the middle, 2 on the side and 2 under.

Get something pointy and take away the round plastic cover inside the "hand holder something"????

    There is the screw.

now u need to take away the plastic cover around the inside door opener.

This is how the clips look like that holds it.

    And here where thay are.

Use the knife and whiggle it. start under and futhers back and work ur way forward.

i got here and then i could use my fingers to take it away.

now to take away the rest, Start at the back. Use the knife to get a wedge. So u can use "get" ur finger underneth.
When u get ur finger underneth, pull towards u.Dont pull as u would start a lawmover or an old boat engine.use hand/finger force.

Here are the plasic clips holding the inside to the door.

    The speaker.

Plastic basket that holds the speaker.

And when mounting evrything togheter, One thing to keep in mind those plastic clips..

And how to take away the tweeter.
