Was tempted, but snow chains are more robust (although apparently you can't fit them to 17" wheels on a DS3)

I purchased a pair of Good Year Snow Socks, for me they have been fantastic in snow and ice, great traction and easy to put on and off

I bought some before my recent trip to Scotland, I got them just in case I got caught out by the weather. I'm fortunate in that I don't have to rely on the car to get to work or do my grocery shopping, all within walking distance for me. If it snows the car will be staying nice and cosy in works underground car park
DS3 Racing, also available in White!!!

I've just bought a pair for my C8 from these guys http://www.autosockdirect.co.uk

Obviously haven't had chance to use them yet and they look like they're really for getting you going again if you get stuck, not for long distance use.

I won't be going out in the car too much if it snows, so they're mainly for emergencies.

Used autosocks for 2 years for work deliveries never got stuck. Excellent for side streets and none gritted areas. So easy to put on and off. Don't use them on gritted roads cos you just shred them.
