Just not registering my vote in this pole- also do "Touch wood" but dont give a tuppence bout ladders Ha!
And believe yours must be a really early model Owd git as youve had it 2 years?
Nice to know you still love it despite any issue
Remember my Ford Focus had cambelt issues when it was launched, and the whole engine ceased when that gave
and a few hundred did- but they sorted it

      semantics indeed!

In respect of the poll OK is what I meant, taking my definition as

"OK is a quintessentially American term that has spread from English to many other languages. Its origin was the subject of scholarly debate for many years until Allen Walker Read showed that OK is based on a joke of sorts. OK is first recorded in 1839 but was probably in circulation before that date. During the 1830s there was a humoristic fashion in Boston newspapers to reduce a phrase to initials and supply an explanation in parentheses. Sometimes the abbreviations were misspelled to add to the humor. OK was used in March 1839 as an abbreviation for all correct"

I agree the car is great, and I shall be hanging on to mine for some years all being well

        Dear Friends,

I´m just a THP SportChick Black DS3. The "engine failure" and SERVICE light came on after 3 kms from taking my car out of the deallership. I assumed it was just some bad old fuel from the factory, came back and reset it. Filed the tank with Premium Racing gasoline, and after one day, the same warning. Reseted it again in the dealler, and after 5 minutes out, the same shit

The dealler showed me the computer, and Citroen checkup is showing that there´s a fuel pump "over-pressure". I can´t note any acelleration or any ohter problem, the car seems to run perfectly , even with the SERVICE light on.

        Any guest?

Mine was like that as well, eventually after about 10 days it went into a permanent limp mode state.

I'm waiting for my 155 (leasing, July, for 2 years).
I'm reading all these 'problem' posts and starting
                      to regret it already
By the looks of this poll I've got about a 30% chance
                      of engine problems?!?!?!?
Does it seem like they've cured ANY of the problems
                      by now???

The 155 isn't on that list so don't start worrying as many folk haven't had a problem

Can you put that in writing AND sign it AND give me a personal extra warranty:rolleyes: ???
                          Oh go on!
                          Pretty Please??
No seriously, MIGHT they have made the newer unit a tad more reliable then?
If not, I'm gonna be doing about 40,000 over the 2 years, so I'll soon be giving YOU lot
                          some new feedback!
(I actually went for the DS instead of a VXR Corsa because of the problems with THOSE!)

wouldn't worry about it as far as we are aware the 155 has been fine, only the 2010 THP`s have had problems so far. a lot of 155`s on here and nothing but good feedback

Doing that much mileage I would have gone for the Diesel

LOGICALLY yes, but I've had 3 years of diesel and deserve a proper motor
                                now (oooh, bitch!! :rolleyes
No, I can't argue against the diesels but i just prefer the way a petrol drives
(besides, the 1.6 turbo is a memorabilia thing....... used to have an Escort
                                RS turbo.....)
