Is the new 155 thp basically the same engine?

Just wondered if the new 155 thp is just the same engine as before? Will not touch the thp again until they sort out the ongoing probs with it and wondered if anything has been done to this engine to modify it and fix ongoing issues?

That assumes a level of technical knowledge that sadly is far beyond me! Photoshop is where I used to go to get my Kodak Instamatic films developed.
