Hi guys! Well only recently i have been having trouble with the DS. Its a thp150 and has been remapped. As the title says i think it may well be a slipping clutch, which has only started happening a few days ago. 1st and 2nd gear its fine, 3rd gear and 4th if you push the accelarator straight to the floor to overtake, usually around 2000rpm,it jumps up to 3000 and comes back down after a second or two. The car has done 19k now so i am just wondering if anyone has comes across it, and what was the outcome? I doubt Citroen are willing to pay for the clutch so is there an uprated clutch available? I have tried looking with no luck

Possible Clutch Slip?

Hi Herby,
I get something similar on my remapped THP, but I dont think it is clutch slip as mine seems to hunt around the rev range from 3,500 to 4,000 in 4th gear only. I tried the old trick of slowing down in 3rd going up a hill then pushed the throttle to the floor. If the clutch was slipping, I would expect to have certainly noticed it then. My car is going into the local tuners for a couple of minor tweaks so I will ask them to check it out for me. Once I know what the problem is I will drop another post with the results.

Yeah i seen them as well. Only company that do them....Well its false. I have emailed them with no reply in a week. Phone most companies in the UK that supply Sachs Clutches, and they dont have any listing for the DS3.
Brain fart moment. Would the DS3 Racing Clutch and Flywheel suit? I can get the two for around the same price as the "Sachs" clutch kit. They are different part number from what i can see there isnt anything else different.
