  • Standard fitment date rear sensors

As mentioned in previous post, I am due to take delivery of a new Pure Connected Chic Auto.
The car was produced in November.
Does anyone know if cars produced then came with rear parking sensors as standard?
My dealer tells me they were not, and is charging me to have them dealer fitted.
Also is it possible to have dealer fit sensors integrated with the emway to show the graphic on the screen?
    With thanks in advance
    Keith

Best person to check with is the dealer.

If they’re the same as the factory sensors, yes. If not, I’d question why they’re fitting 3rd party sensors to a new car.

Just checked, according to the configurator Connected Chic has rear parking sensors as standard.

I’m not sure all knowledge is accurate, but I certainly am proficient at Googling for the answer

Congratulations on your new car Kate. From what I've heard, cars built in November probably don't come with rear parking sensors as standard. As for dealer installation, they can probably be integrated with the Emway system to display graphics on the screen. However, you'll need to check with your Carvana dealer for exact details, see https://carvana.pissedconsumer.com/review.html or talk to other owners of the same model.
