  • Oil leak/pvc check

Hi all, recently bought a DS3 1.6 150 which has a what looks like a minor oil leak. Car is a 2011 with 68k on the clock and seems to run nice. Noticed on the mot it has an advisory for oil leak also which was 10k miles ago so been like it for a while. Does anyone have a picture of the PVC tube so i can check this? I am a complete novice here so not sure what i am looking at. Thanks in advance

Any idea were the oil leak is happening? Mine has loads of it on top of the engine (own fault tho). It's dry on the underside. Might help me pinpoint it for you.

The underside looks very oily but i guess it would?

The underside has a plastic cover that could be channeling the leak away from where it actually is? Maybe remove the cover and see where it drips then?

Have look after cleaning the underside. Let it run for a few moments. pvc won't make the underside all covered oil.
            Check the oil filter housing...

Will try this. Oil level doesn’t seem to have changed at all although hard to tell as the dip stick is pretty poor!
