Never heard of a car system that tells you the bulbs have gone. I check the car weekly with my mk 1 tester and it never fails me.

My Audi A4 cabriolet used to tell you on the dash a bulb had gone. It's a shame that Citroen has left out little bit's of
Technology considering the cost of the top end range.

Audi, that says it all. About 80% of my parking tickets go to Audi's. Must be coz the car didn't tell them they needed one, lol.Mk 1 tester is your best bet. It does lights, tyres, oil, water, and it came free for me 50 years ago. Eyes!!

the CANbus system is what tells you your lights or sidelights are out as far as i know the ds3 should have it

My Alfa 147 had a bulb failure warning function. However, being an Alfa, the warnings were not often related to any actual bulb failure! I think it's fairly common for headlamp bulbs not to be monitored by the bulb failure warning system.

My C5 had a lamp failure warning system, I always carry a spare set of lamps but have never had the need to use them.
