Need help Air con problems

Hi , My DS3 D Sport air con is not working most of the time, sometimes it will start up but just random and not very often but when it does work it is ice cold . Took it to Main dealer, and they said leaking condenser, £500 to replace. So i went to local air con expert, he said there is no leak, so he fiiled up system but it was still the same just works randomly. He suggested change the pressure switch so I did this but no difference still works randomly so went back to expert and he fully drained the system (there had been no gas loss) and refilled it but it still only works now and then and not very often to be honest . Please help I am in the Notts/Derby area if anyone can recomend an "expert" Thanks in advance

Can you hear or even see if the compressor is running when you have the a/c switched on and it's not working?
