Service light when A/C kicks in.. help

Hello all, my 1.2 pure tech has been fine until today. Strange problem where the air con will switch on fine with cold air through the vents but then after 2 mins the service light appears and a message on the console : engine fault repair needed... after 10 seconds all the faults clear but then it does it again every 2 mins. I've checked all the fuses.

any ideas?

How old is the car? When was the a/c last serviced?

its a 2016, air con had a full service 3 months ago and the refrigerant is at 100 percent.
