Steering Wheel Leather Fading - Shoe Polish

Hi,

Ive noticed that my steering wheel leather is starting to fade - Is there any way that it can be restored? I've heard stories of people using shoe polish - Anyone got any experience or other suggestions?

When you say shoe polish, do you mean leather dubbin? Leather is leather, so dubbin should "nourish" it.
