You can have an anti-perforation and bodywork paint check by Citroën / DS, but only when the car is 4 years old. It's in the back of your service book, as an option, BUT (as I have found out very recently) it's not something they will offer to have done, it's something you need to ask for when the 4 year service is due. If you don't and ask a year later, like I did, coz I hadn't seen it, they point blank refuse to do it.
I have started an email battle with Citroën this week about why this check isn't offered as standard at the 4 year service schedule. Basically if you do manage to get it done on time, you pay £25 for a certificate to say its been checked and then it is covered for a further few years under their paintwork/body warranty.
The paint peeling around the mirrors is a known issue and getting Citroën / DS to do anything about outside of any warranty is gonna be impossible. I'd get it to a decent reputable bodyshop to get checked out and a quote, but be warned I don't think it will be cheap.DS3 DSport eHDi 145 - Stage 1 with K&N - Shark Grey & Infinite Blue

If it hasn't been damaged by anyone, and its 2013, I would still forget the warranty and take it in for them to look at it
Personally speaking I would expect car paintwork to be pristine, unless damage has occurred, after 5 years
Maybe not book it in, just grab someone walking round the sales/ tech are of the Citroen dealers
I am aware of someone with the pearlescent paint getting a full respray free, at around about 5 years old, due to bad paintworksigpicJog on Noddy
