My 155 has always felt a bit lumpy at idle. The rev counter doesn’t show any fluctuations and the scan tool shows no misfires. I improved mine slightly by spraying contact cleaner/protector on all the coil pack connections when fitting new iridium plugs (apparently adopted by BMW for all THP spec engines).
Also the latest software update helped.
I think it is the nature of the engine though as has been mentioned on here and on the Mini Cooper forums.

just to confirm mine is a slight stumbling at idle not the bad idle where the car is nearly stalling and the Rev counter is jumping about.

      Cheers for the help guys.

Several people have mentioned now that it's a trait of the engine to have a slight lump to the idle so I'm just going to ignore it for now. It's only very slight any way
