Mayo in the coolant tank!

Hi guys and gals. I have just gone to top up my coolant and noticed a mayo looking gunk in the tank, none on the cap though.

Is this looking like the head on the way out!

I'd be guessing at this stage but i'd say its just some that has dried on. That engine bay can get seriously warm.

Some other forums are saying it might be from using two different kinds of coolant.

Will a toothbrush fit in there to see if it'll clean out you think?

Hmmmm yeah I'll give it a clean up and give it a week! Tbh the coolant was from when I had a service, so unless they just topped it up with a different coolant than the one I have been using that could be the cause. It also may be time get rid before anything too expensive occurs
