  • Having to shout on bluetooth calls

I got my ds3 cabrio a few months ago. It’s a 2015 model. When I make a call through the Bluetooth call function which is connected to my iPhone 8, the microphone is so low that I have to shout for anyone to hear me. I’ve had a new mic installed from citeron so it’s not that. I don’t know what else to do. I’ve tried re connecting it, tried other phones and nothing works. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

I’ve not had the issue but I don’t make too many calls in the car. I’d test that the in car mic is actually working for the call and your phone isn’t just using the phone mic.

If it’s using just the phone mic I’d check your phone settings and probably un-pair and re-pair the phone to the car.

I once had a issue like this with a different Bluetooth unit. It would use my phone as the microphone.

While being on the phone check your microphone settings by clicking on the what is the loudspeaker button to see where the microphone is being used from. (If memory serves me correctly and it's an iPhone you're using)

It's worth trying just to rule that out if nothing else.
