Failing blow off valve?

This may sound strange but here goes..

I have a 2012 DS3 THP 155 and when accelerating from low RPM with wide open throttle and lifting off anywhere between 2500 and 4500 RPM I can hear my blow off valve venting to atmosphere.

Now I may be going mad but I swear that the car never did this before and should not as the DS3 is supposed to have an internally recirculating blow off valve?

Can anybody confirm what my blow off valve should be doing?

Thanks for the reply Jamie, no it hasn't, however, it has broken clean off under the clamp which I wouldn't have ever seen. (Brand new turbo intake pipe is 140 pounds from Citroen South Africa High-temp silicone glue should do to sort that out..)

I don't think that's what is causing it though, upon further inspection, it didn't seem like the noise was coming from there.

Car is booked in for Monday, here's hoping that the fix isn't too expensive
