  • Gear linkage fault after clutch change

I have just changed the clutch on my DS3 1.6 Diesel. Everything went back together perfect and test drive was fine. Much lighter on the pedal now. On inspection the clutch fork was badly worn and the ball joint it pivoted on was totally worn out so the pressure plate was engaging unevenly creating very stiff hard pedal.
My only annoying problem now is 5th gear does not go back to neutral easily it goes past it into reverse. You have to jiggle it to go back to neutral. Has anyone had this problem before or maybe i have reassembled the linkages wrong? I have had them apart several times to double check and can't see anything obvious. Can't seem to find a diagram either. Thanks in advance for any help its a great useful forum!

To be fair, most DS3 gearbox's run like a bag of nuts in bolts
would leave it if it's not too bad
     You get an OEM clutch?

thanks for your reply, yeah OEM kit I am getting quite use to the fifth gear now so just going to live with it. If I pull to the left as I change back into neutral from fifth it's ok
