I was looking for a potential oil leak from my car after seeing oil on the ground, turns out it’s a neighbours after speaking to them.
While looking I found this discolouration on bottom of the engine. I am lacking knowledge when it comes to engines so is this normal?
If it’s a leak of some sort then I am hoping it’s from a previous fault as I haven’t had the car that long. It’s completely dried on, not wet anywhere from what I could make out.
My question is, can anybody tell what it is from the picture? (Sorry it isn’t the best)
