Hi all,
I have a DSport 110 which is coupled with a 6-speed manual. normally you would lift the ring under the knob in order to put the car in reverse. The ring is connected to a spring, which springs the ring down when the knob is not in reverse. However, I found that the ring no longer returns to its original position when I shift out from reverse gear, so I feel like the spring is dislodged or something.
I wish to fix this myself to avoid a trip to a garage, but I am not sure if the "pull really hard upward" method can apply to a 6-speed box or that works for 5-speed? Anyone had this experience before? Thanks in advance.
