  • Electric Folding Mirrors

Hi guys first post, saw the posts on adding electric folding mirrors, im looking for the opposite. My wifes DS3 63 plate got a replacement Mirror assembly a couple of years ago on the drivers side, The passenger side was replaced about 6 months ago and now the drivers side has packed in again. ( Usual fault, the motor tries to start up and doesnt pull the mirror in when locking the doors or push out when opening. ..... Usual poor motors, ))) Dont want to replace another one now and the wife isnt bothered if it doesnt fold in.. Can anyone tell me if one of the 2 connectors is just for folding back and forward and the other for mirror functions ? also the heated mirror .... what im really asking is can i pull one of the connectors and if so can anyone tell me what one is for the folding function.
    Cheers in anticipation..... Many thanks

Hi the engineer and welcome. I don't have folding mirrors myself, so cannot answer this for you. Hopefully someone else will be along to assist you with this.

You could try in Bigfeets File Repository here:

        http://www.ds3club.co.uk/forum/ds3/d...uments-for-ds3

Right near the bottom, before the vid clips, there are 2 links for wiring with and without folding mirrors. Not sure if the downloads still work or not, as it's been a while since Bigfeet has been on here, as he no longer works for Citroën / DS.
