Reverse sensor and light stopped working

My car went in for a service on Thursday, and whilst the car was there I asked them to take a look at the air con system as my air con stopped working when the auxiliary belt snapped. They looked at the air con system and said that the air con compressor has failed and will cost £620 to replace (). However, I went to drive my car on Friday, put the car into reverse and noticed that there was no beep like usual. Nothing came up on the screen like usual and there was no error message that came up. I then realised my reverse light also isn’t working.

I rang the garage and they said that they wouldn’t have done anything to cause this to happen.

Any ideas as to what could be causing the problem?

Did the problem happen on Thursday after you had picked up the car following your service? Of course the garage will say, nothing they did will've caused it!! It could be just a blown fuse, but I don't have the reverse parking sensors to fully know what it might be.
