  • Tyre pressure monitoring system

    Hi folks
im a newbie in need of help with the above
i have a 2015 plate ds3 and have just replaced the rear tyres with new.
this work was carried out at a local tyre shop.
problem is now I’m getting a warning message accompanied by service light. The warning message is saying “under inflation fault”
could you please educate me as in what the problem could be. I have ensured all 4 tyres are correctly inflated to 2.4 bar and have reset the on board computer.
could the garage simply of used non monitoring valves and kept them?
    any advice would be welcome
    regards

As far as I know there are no pressure sensors on rims the tyre pressure are monitored by the rotation speed of each wheel

I got new tyres a few months ago. First ones on my newer DS3 and had a similar problem. If you go into the car diagnostic menu on the radio/touchscreen, you can re-initialise or re-calibrate the tyre pressure monitoring. Can't remember the exact wording, but that worked for me.

Reading from the original post as reset on board computer, hopefully correctly.
