Alternator clutch pulley change

Hi all, I am after some advice as I need to replace the alternator clutch pulley on my diesel DS3. I have the tools but there is no room available to get the tool into the pulley so I presume I need to remove the alternator.

Do I need to remove the inter cooler in order to get the alternator out or is there another way of changing the pulley?
