Interior air-con sensor

The air-con on our 2012, DS3 is not working, a visit to a local air-con/auto electrician identified a faulty interior passenger side sensor showing – 40c.
Does anyone know where the sensor is and how do you access the sensor?
Our local Citroen agent has been less than helpful in giving me any advice unless I book the car in for a full diagnostic and then they will explain how they will fix the fault at main dealer rates.
