1.6 thp 125

Hi all

I have just registered here, mainly because I can't find any forums for 308's!

Quick question for you all and I am hoping one of you guys might know - I currently own a 308 1.6 THP 125bhp.

Do you know how this engine differs from the 150, 155 & current 156?

I have scoured the internet for months and can't find anything definite.

Hi Adam,

I found some pictures in the Service Box from PSA. It seems like they are looking quite the same, some parts may differ. Below are some pictures from my 1.6 THP(150 HP) engine and your 1.6 THP (125 HP)

Red Label: Citroën Ds3 1.6 THP 150 HP:


Blue Label: Peugeot 308 1.6 THP 125 HP:

the obvious difference would be the output I guess: THP 150 = 150 PS
THP 155= 155 PS
THP 200= 200 PS
etc etc

would also guess the base engine is the same, with a few add ons, bore outs, strengthening etcetera

Is there a specific thing you are searching for as a difference?
