  • Changing headlight bulb

hello, i am after changing headlight bulb as one has blew, so i decicded to change both whilst im at it. went for a drive at night and noticed they are set really high. i tried to adjust them earlier but they only seem to fit one way and dont look right. the bulb seems to be pointing down. is there a certain technique to fitting these? cheers.

Doesn't look right. I never had a hard time changing mine, although I'm not aware of any trick. I'd try taking one fully out and put back in. See if it sits properly 2nd go.

Finally, as far as I'm aware, it's not best practice to fit two new headlight bulbs at the same time because it heightens the chance of both going pop at a similar time.

How do they manage at the factory with new cars and fitting brand new bulbs or do they put 1 old.bulb and 1 new one so they don't go pop at similar time.

there is a height adjuster dial on the steering column, or down lower rhs of steering column

always found them very easy to fit, remove rubber cover, remove lamp holder by squeezing spring clip, centre the lamp and bobs you uncle
