Another temp sensor question

Hi all, quick question, i have the temp sensor issue and have bought the new 2 plug housing and adapted mini loom. Question is , after fitting will the ecu need a reset/update or are they plug and play ? Tia.

The answer is no, it's just plug and play by the look of things. Changed yesterday and all seems good, quite an easy job except the rear hose connection which nearly put me on a murderous rampage i was so annoyed the clip wouldn't go back in. Strange having the car start first turn off the key again.

Just an update now it's been over a week, all is fine and car still starting fine and no more temp warnings. Even treated her to new oil, filters and platinum plugs now it's behaving.

Great. Its fab when a fault gets cured, and lasts. Makes you feel all happy bout the car again :-)
