THP 155 manual gearbox replacement (compatibility from other models/cars)

Hi,
my 2010 THP 155 manual 6-speed gearbox broke down (after heavy abuse on racetrack with sticky tires and 208Gti turbo), need replacement. Citroen told me compatible ones have codes 2231E4, 2231Y4 and 2232F5. They are almost impossible to find though. (my VIN is VF7SA5FR8AW546774)
Will any other THP 1.6 gearboxes work? There are plenty for sale from 508,5008,308 Peugeots, many other Citroens,...

Have you tried to search on engine code, yours is "5FR". The engine's with that code should match your Gearbox.

This page says 5FR is only in 2010 DS3 THP: https://www.proxyparts.com/wiki/engi...oen/model/ds3/ which means finding a used gearbox will be close to impossible

Found these two gearboxes on a dutch Citroën and Peugeot Specialist website, maybe you could contact them if you can't find any in the UK.

I am actually from Czech (which is too small market for this specific gearbox to be found) so will check the website, thx!
