Ds3 Dsport Plus Thp 155 BHP 14 very sluggish & slow!

Hi.

I have a Ds3 Dsport Plus Thp 155 BHP. 14 plate, 49,000 miles

Several times this year it has become very sluggish, taking ages to get to 70mph, doesn't feel like the turbo is kicking in.

The engine management light doesn't come on.

I have taken it to a local garage a few times, when they check the faults it comes up with 8-10 faults.
As soon as they clear the faults the car is back to normal when I put my foot down!

Last month it was sluggish, I took it to the Citroen garage as I thought they may have better luck.

Their machine came up with a lot of faults too.
Again when they cleared the faults the car was great again.

They said they don't know why it's doing it, and it could be very expensive if they check every fault!

Yesterday the same things happened, sluggish, ages to get to 50 mph.

Is this a common problem with DS3?

Any ideas what it may be?

could be an ECU Fault- what are the codes?

The THP is well known for carbonisation of the inlet valves, High pressure fuel pumps can become faulty too

Your "soon as the faults are cleared the car is fine" is a new one on me. Either there are no faults, or there are not- surprised the experts cant tell you

Sounds like it could be going into limp mode just to get you home, as it can see faults on its system
