P0098 Intake air temperature sensor signal: Open circuit or short circuit no more





Guys anyone know how to solve these errors? After refueling the car started bumping after 3000 rpm and turned on the injection light 3 days later.

Sounds like your intake air temperature sensor is goosed.

I imagine air intake temp is a variable the ECU considers when deciding valve timing, fuel mixture and perhaps more. So, it not knowing what the air intake temp is, the ECU is protecting the engine by putting it in limp?

I'm certainly no expert. So maybe someone who knows more may confirm / deny this.

maybe just change your air filter?
