water loss

after driving about 10 miles if i have my heater on that it loses all heat so stop to check water level to find i needed to top it up with 2 litres of water after topping it up used the car again for about the same distance this time with no heater on just to find needed to top it up with about 2 litres of water again.Cant see any puddles of water under the car when i leave it over night.Cant see any visible leaks either.

Well, its either leaking, boiling off, or maybe even a seal leaking somewhere into other parts of the engine

Have a good look round engine bay, radiator top and bottom. White smoke out of exhaust (Head Gaskett?)

what the oil look like on dipstick\/ and underneath oil filler cap?
