Alloy issue!

Help please
My 2016 DS3 is about a week out it’s extended warranty and I’ve just noticed today all these marks on both my rear alloys, only the rear ones! I know I haven’t kurbed it!
just as I decided not to renew my warranty for a 5th year!
ive only had the car a year

help

Hi- I cant see the photos that clearly, but I am hazarding a guess that its the surface oxidising

That is small amount of water getting under the clearcoat varnish layer covering the wheels, and oxidising the metal, giving a white powdery coating after time

All wheels suffer from it eventually, as the top coats aren't able to last forever. If it happens really quickly, within a few years of purchase (Warranty) sometime Citroen replace them

Maybe ask a Citroen dealer for advice

Had this happen to all 4 wheels on my ds3 local citroen dealer took photos and sent the photos citroen uk who authorized that all 4 wheels to be replaced under warranty.
