Car Alarm Keeps Going Off?

Around 6:30pm tonight my 2016 DS DS3 Cabrio's alarm started going off randomly, wouldn't even switch off with the key etc was going off for an hour or so and when the guy came to look at the car it completely stopped and hasn't gone off since. Has anyone had an issue like this before, if so how did you sort this out?

Ive not had the problem before, but have had the issue of locking my wife in the car when at a filling station (Automatic response when walking away from the car- and maybe to wind her up ;-) and the internal volumetric sensors set the alarm off.

My point being, maybe your sensors are faulty or are "sensing" something, or dirty etc etc.

Not sure if disconnecting the car battery would stop the alarm, as never tried it. But I would try it if it happened to me. Most alarms go off after 30 seconds or so

What did the "Guy" say who came to help. I am in RAC so would call them as well.

Hey Chris. I ended up calling the RAC as green flag were completely awful and just told me to disconnect the battery. RAC came and said it was a faulty bonnet sensor and disconnected it, has not gone off for 2 days now and behold at 11:30pm.. it went off again! Currently waiting for the RAC to come again and it will not stop. I am definitely not my neighbours flavour of the month! Lol

Yes, to solve such problems with the car you need a good service and a lot of time. I would like to tell you about a service that impressed me.
