Climate control fan

Hi all, proud new owner of a rather poorly looked after (but cheap) ds3 1.6 hdi 2012.

The climate control fan makes a rather distracting noise while running - I cant find any diagrams for replacement etc. Is there a resource for workshop manuals etc (have looked Bigfeets file repository but no luck).

On another note - when the start stop kicks in and out there is a fairly significant dip in headlight strength. Furthermore, both the fan strength and headlight brightness seem to be affected my engine rpm. Is my battery dying?

Apologies for the potentially stupid questions, am trying got get into this home mechanic thing with my first car!

Bigfeet repository is only access to documents on here I know of

When my battery died on my stop start, it just died outright, clicking solenoid was all I heard. Brace yerself for a big cost when u need the battery- as mine cost £130

I would suggest you test the output of the battery before you replace, think there is a thread on here about what outputs it should give- or google.
