I'm back here after several years of other cars and thinking of getting a new DS3 - I've been offered a great deal on a 130 automatic Ultra Prestige. I've found the servicing costs page on DS's website but I'm wondering if anyone goes anywhere other than a DS3 dealer to get it done more cheaply without jeopardising the warranty. All advice gratefully received.

The new rules say that DS cannot invalidate your warranty if you have the car serviced elsewhere although that does not include DIY servicing. I don't know where you are in the country, I am in Norfolk and use a Citroen Independant Speciallist Garage, Braggs of Briston. I have found that wherever I have lived there are specialist garages that do much better than the main dealer garages in terms of price and quality although they probably don't have lounges or coffee machines.. That said I do not think you will find 'DS' specialist garages but will probably find Citroen/ Peugeot specialist garages local to you. If you look on the C4 owners org site there is a national list of independants and also franchised dealers with reports from people who have used them. -
