As I look through DS3's for sale, and as I check their previous MOT's, I am seeing 100s of advisories or fail on this one point - Front Drive Shaft Joint Constant Velocity Boot Split Or Insecure, No Longer Prevents The Ingress Of Dirt Clip Insecure....... is this a design fault or poor maintenance by the drivers.

Ive had the CV boot leak fail on an MOT. Basically a rubber sock that goes over the CV joint near the front driveshaft
Assume they arent great quality OEM. No maintenance to do as an owner, just a piece of rubber thats a PITA to fit
Exhaust brackets well known issue
Coil spings- dont think they are unduly problematic- never have been on my 3 x DS3s
Some of these cars are now over 10yrs old- they wont last forever- and theyre cheap
