My wife's 2011 diesel DS3 reversing lights and sensors aren't activating when putting in reverse.
The reverse light and sensors were working until it went in for an air conditioning diagnostic session My wife can't remember if it happened straight after the diagnosis or sometime after so can't blame the garage. I have read another post where this has happened after Aircon work has happened but there wasn't any follow up post to see how was rectified.
I have put a multimeter across the reverse switch and the switch is shorting when engaging reverse and the pale blue wire is giving 14v when the engine is running.
In Diagbox, it isn't recognising going into reverse, and I have tried shorting the pale blue to torquoise/yellow wire and it still Diagbox still doesn't think reverse is engaged.
I can activate the reverse light with Diagbox so my problem seems to be somewhere from the torquoise/yellow wire at the switch to, I assume, the BSI or the BSI itself.
I cannot see where this torquoise/yellow wire goes after the switch, does anyone know where it goes? Or do people think I need to perform a BSI reset (I think I have done this but don't know if I did it properly)? Or do people think it is something else?
