Hello everyone,
Hoping someone can help with this as it's been going on for around 12 months now and i'm really struggling to get to the bottom of it.
It starts with the Service and UREA light coming on, it doesn't always stay on and there's no rhyme or reason (monitored fuel levels, journey distance etc but no pattern) and a message saying 'Emissions Fault' and is shortly following by the Engine Warning Light and a message that says 'Engine Fault: Have The Vehicle Repaired'.
It's had the AdBlue topped up and a new DPF Tank and Fluid but still the problem persists. My mechanic says that it could be something to do with the pressure in the AdBlue tank as the liquid can corrode if the car isn't used regularly (it was stood for a while during lockdown) and it may need a new AdBlue system (circa £900!!) i've just had a new DPF tank which hasn't solved it.
Has anyone had this problem before or heard similar stories and can offer some advice please? I don't want to throw another £900 at it if it's not going to solve the issue.
