Bulb confusion
Hi all,
I'm just looking for a bit of helpful advice because I’m so confused. I’ve tried consulting google but it’s not helped.
My right reverse light has stopped working. I went to Halfords and they wanted to charge me £20 to change it. I’m not frugal but to me that’s quite excessive. So I checked my manual and ordered the required bulbs. Checked on YouTube how to change it and set about doing it. Only to find that my car uses LED bulbs. So off the Amazon I went again and ordered the correct LED. I changed it today but it’s still not working. So after having the hump about it and deciding I’m just going to have to admit defeat and pay to get it done, I’ve just been thinking about something. When I was checking the bulbs at first I noticed that the bulb to the inside is an orange bulb and having looked at photos it appears the orange bulb is actually where my reverse light should be when I put the car into reverse so now I’m not sure if I’ve even been attempting to change the right bulb.
surely that’s not right because it would mean my indicator bulb is actually the white LED and my reverse bulb is the orange one.
it doesn’t take a lot to confuse me but this has just baffled me.
Could anyone shed some light ok it or have I completely made no sense at all??
